Airbnb has announced new efforts at reducing the risk of disruptive or unauthorized parties at their rentals in Maryland. Promoting responsible travel, the centerpoint of the new measures include blocks on certain 1 and 2-night reservations for entire homes over holiday weekends. A similar program was piloted over Memorial Day and July 4th last year and the efforts reduced the number of disruptive parties. Cumberland currently has over 60 buildings in the city that are Airbnb type rentals.
