The Western Maryland Area Health Education Center, or AHEC, has joined the White House Challenge to Save Lives From Overdose. The challenge is a nationwide call to action for stakeholders to commit to increasing training on and access to naloxone and other overdose reversal medications. Melissa Clark, AHEC Associate Director, recently visited the White House with other groups to discuss the challenge. AHEC West distributes naloxone and other supplies at The Possibility Shop on Baltimore Street in downtown Cumberland.
