Open enrollment season for health plans is now occurring and for some Seniors, there has not been much choice. For this year, there are many changes in prescription drug plans to navigate as well as other Medicare plans. Those who have chosen Advantage plans usually have stayed with their current plan provider, but Nevin Hersh of American Insurance Center says there is a choice this year to consider…
“So folks who have Advantage plans, usually there’s nothing to really switch to because you have one company, two plans, and only one of them really makes sense. Now you have another company bringing in some additional plans so that is definitely something for someone who has a Part C – Advantage plan, they’re going to want to check into.”
