On Monday, June 24th, 2024, the Cumberland City Police arrested Michael Anthony Hagenbuch, 32, of Ridgeley WV. Hagenbuch was arrested on an active Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County Circuit Court on May 10th. The warrant alleged Hagenbuch failed to obey the terms and conditions of probation that stemmed from a previous theft charge. He was taken before the District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. He is currently being held without bond.

On Monday, June 24th, 2024, the Cumberland City Police arrested Robert W. Connolly, 38, of Cumberland MD. Connolly was arrested on an active Arrest Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court for an incident that occurred on May 29th. During that incident, it is alleged that Connolly stole a four-wheeler from a Hansel Dr residence in Rawlings MD. He was taken before the District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance where he was released on his own recognizance.
