Today is the first Friday of the 2020-2021 school year in which Allegany County public school students are permitted in their classrooms to receive in-person instruction. The Allegany County Board of Education’s decision to replace virtual learning Fridays with in-person learning has not been well received by the local education union or many of the rank and file teachers.
