Allegany County Public Schools was made aware of school violence threats being shared on social media, nationwide. We want to assure you that all potential threats are taken seriously.
We’ve been working closely with area law enforcement agencies, who have found the threats to be non-credible.
As a precaution, expect to see increased patrols and officer presence in and around our schools. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority.
