Allegany College of Maryland’s Legal Studies and Criminal Justice programs will be having a special Criminal Justice Law Day, scheduled for April 25 on ACM’s Cumberland Campus. In addition to information on college programs in legal studies and criminal justice, demonstrations include a landing by State Police Helicopter Trooper 5 at 10am, along with canine and drone presentations. Spokesperson Kristin Kehrwald says there will also be a visit from federal corrections…

   

“It’s the FCI Cumberland Disturbance Control Team and they will be putting on a demonstration at one o’clock. That event is so amazing. It’s going to be in the lower parking lot, down near the athletic field.”
