While Crystal Bender and Tammy Fraley are running to return to their Board of Education seats, the union representing county teachers is endorsing Max Green and Gerry LaFemina…
“Max is a former graduate of Fort Hill who credits not only his high school graduation but also his college and career success to the educators who helped him overcome obstacles in his way. He’s also married to another Fort Hill graduate who is a teacher in Baltimore City, and so as a result he has a keen awareness of the issues facing students and educators every day. Gerry LaFemina is an experienced educator of English Literature at Frostburg State University so he brings first-hand experience and knowledge of education to the position. He has a deep respect for his students and the profession and he desires to help his students and he desires to increase transparency and respect for the education system.”
