Whether students are heading off to college for the first time or returning to campus, Triple A is reminding them and their parents to make sure vehicles and other belongings have proper insurance. AAA’s public and government affairs manager Ragina Ali, says AAA has suggestions on how to guard against theft including keeping an updated “dorm inventory” should a claim need to be filed. Over 38,000 crimes including vehicle thefts were reported on college campuses in 2022…
"You need to review your coverage with your agent before heading to campus. If you live off campus, purchase renter's insurance to protect you and your belongings. Leave valuables at home and make sure that your car is in good shape before you head to college for the trip."
