On January 4th, 2024, The Cumberland Police Department responded to the 200 block of Virginia Ave for a disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers observed a female subject there who was screaming and throwing items in public. When officers contacted the female, she quickly advanced toward them and threw soda on one of the officers. She then turned and attempted to leave the area on foot. She was ordered to stop but continued to try and leave the area. As a result, Cassandra Kay Porter, 42, was placed under arrest. At this time, Porter is being held at the Allegany County Detention Center Central Booking Unit where she awaits her Initial Appearance.

Charges:  Disturb the Peace-Loud Noise, Assault 2nd Degree
