The Cumberland Historic Cemetery Organization will hold their annual memorial service and history reading for area American Revolutionary War Veterans today at 10AM at 400 S. Allegany Street, the site of Capt. David Lynn estate. In 2008 the CHCO installed a monument at the columns to honor Capt. Lynn and over two centuries of great American history and heritage. Elected officials will speak along with representatives of several other historical organizations today. Ed Taylor says the event will be a safe for all ages amd those present will travel to nearby Rose Hill Cemetery to lay a wreath at Lynn's grave marked by a CHCO monument.
