4 Arrested for Trespassing at Baltimore Avenue residence

On Monday, December 16, 2024 at approximately 2:16 PM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to a residence in the 200 block of Baltimore Avenue for a trespassing complaint.  The caller reported that several subjects had entered the property which is posted, “No Trespassing.” Officers arrived and located an open door.  Police checked inside the residence and located the following suspects: David Bennett, Kerri Bohrer, Brenda Ogden, and Jeremy Thomas. After further investigation, the suspects were arrested and transported to police headquarters for processing.  Bohrer, Ogden, and Thomas were issued criminal citations and released pending trial.  Bennett was also issued a criminal citation; however, Bennett had an active bench warrant through the Circuit Court of Garrett County for failing to appear in court.  Bennett was originally charged with multiple sex offenses.  He was transported to the Allegany County Detention Center where he is currently being held without bond pending his appearance before the court.
