The Allegany County Health Department and the Allegany County Department of Emergency Services have confirmed a fourth walk-in COVID-19 vaccination clinic to be held May 6 at the Mt. Savage Fire Company in Mt. Savage, MD. This new date joins the list of three other clinics previously announced for Oldtown, Flintstone, and Lonaconing. All of the scheduled clinics will run from 9 a.m. to noon, and any Allegany County resident 18 or older can come to the clinic without an appointment. The current schedule is as follows:
- April 27: Oldtown Fire Company, 18712 MD-51, Oldtown, MD
- April 29: Flintstone Fire Company, 21701 Flintstone Dr. NE, Flintstone, MD
- May 4: Good Will Fire Company Armory, 2 Advocate Ct., Lonaconing, MD
- May 6: Mt. Savage Fire Company, 15701 Iron Rail St., Mt. Savage, MD
The Allegany County Health Department reports that 21,920 Allegany County residents have received their first dose of a two-dose vaccine against COVID-19 (31.1% of the population), with 15,377 of those individuals now fully vaccinated with their second dose (21.8 % of the population). The number of residents who have received the single dose Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) vaccine stands at 2,119 (3.0 %).
By comparison, the state reported that 40.5% of all Marylanders had received their first dose of a two-dose vaccine, with 26.3% having had both doses and 3.0% vaccinated with the single dose vaccine.

- Additional Deaths: 0 (cumulative total 206)
- Cases Per 100,000 Population: 17.65 (Maryland: 18.42)
