The Allegany County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 2024 Honorees for its annual Recognition Reception. Chessie Federal Credit Union – Business of the Year; Dr. Artie Travis – Community Service; CG Enterprises – Entrepreneurial Spirit; and the finalists for the Nonprofit of the Year are Allegany College of Maryland Foundation, Allegany Arts Council and the Western Maryland Food Bank.
The awards will be presented at the Chamber’s 36th Annual Recognition Reception on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at the Hotel Gunter in Frostburg. A variety of heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served during a cocktail reception beginning at 6pm, followed by the awards presentation at 7pm.
The 2024 Western Maryland Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees) Outstanding Young Professional Award will be presented at the event. Reservations are required. Invitations will be mailed to Chamber members and guests in mid-September.
