The U.S. Department of the Treasury has awarded the Maryland Technology Development Corporation $10 million to support small business growth. Maryland applied for the funds in coordination with Delaware, Virginia, and the District of Columbia to provide regional assistance. Maryland Governor Wes Moore says the support will benefit the small businesses that need critical services…
“You know, what if we made legal and accounting and financial guidance more accessible to everyone? That’s what this announcement today is really all about. It’s going to help us to create pathways to work, wages, and wealth which is a promise we made to the people of this state and we’re grateful for the work that has happened thus far to deliver upon that.”
Maryland’s U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen said the investment in TEDCO will boost resource availability to small businesses…
“The purpose of this grant to TEDCO is to make sure that all of our small businesses are able to have the wherewithal to help access the opportunities in those federal programs, state programs and also other opportunities that are there. And TEDCO is perfectly suited for this mission.”
