Maryland State Police Aviation Trooper 5 helped rescue an injured hunter in Grant County, West Virginia Tuesday. A rescue technician was lowered to the scene where a hunter had fallen from a tree stand. Trooper 5 and its crew succeeded in the aerial extraction and the hunter was transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown for treatment of his injuries.
