The Allegany County Sheriff's Office Patrol and Correctional Divisions will be accepting donations for the North Carolina Areas that have been affected by Hurricane Helene. Below is a list of needed items. M/Deputy Chase McKenzie has offered to head the transporting of these items to the North Carolina area. Donations can be dropped off at either the Patrol Office at 695 Kelly Road or the Detention Center at 14300 McMullen Hwy Monday thru Friday 8am till 4 pm. The cutoff date is October 11.
