A malfunctioning wood stove caused over $75,000 in damages to a Rawlings residence Wednesday morning. Fire crews were alerted just before 8am to a fire on Morning Sun Drive. Residents reported seeing smoke coming through a basement flue pipe. Three people evacuated the mobile home with no injuries. The Rawlings Fire Company took 40 minutes to bring the fire under control.
