Update at 11:07: The 16-year-old girl has been located by emergency crews and is being treated for weather exposure.
Efforts continue to locate a missing 16-year-old female in Hyndman, Pennsylvania. Elizabeth Brooks is 5 feet 3 inches tall with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seeing wearing turquoise pajama pants and a green shirt. Elizabeth is autistic. She was last seen in the area of Bedford Street and Water Street in Hyndman. Emergency responders, K9 team and Pennsylvania State Police spent the early morning hours searching wilderness areas and the creeks. Allegany County emergency services is providing mutual aid. Just after 7 a.m. a wilderness search team was dispatched to the location as the search expands to locate the child. Staging operations are presently set up at the old elementary school in Hyndman and a door-to-door search is presently underway. If you have information on the whereabouts of the missing child, you are asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police Bedford barracks at 814-623-6133.
