Maryland’s Department of Housing and Community Development Secretary Jake Day has announced a $25,000 Business Boost micro grant to an Allegany County business for economic development. Mountain City Center for the Arts in Frostburg will receive the money to help with operating costs to increase enrollment, provide more opportunities for arts education and job opportunities for local professional artists and educators. Overall, $908,000 in grants were made to 22 businesses across eight counties and Baltimore City.
