Businesses along North Centre Street in downtown Cumberland have declared March 1st as Lee Schwartz Day. A Cigar Toast at 4p.m. today on the sidewalks of North Centre to honor Lee's legacy and also to say farewell to The Book Center as they close permanently on Sunday at 3p.m. Dave Love the unofficial Mayor and spokesman for the street said "You're encouraged to grab your favorite cigar and join us as we light one up for Lee."  Dave also noted that it is still legal to smoke on North Centre and ashtrays will be available.
