The Maryland Department of Transportation has awarded more than $26,000 in state funding to support tree plantings across the state. Allegany County will be part of the program with 111 trees coming to Mountain Ridge High School in Frostburg. Those trees will be planted in the area of the stadium. Another 81 trees were rewarded that will be planted at the Frostburg Dog Park on Willow Drive.
