The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s office is investigating two fire that occurred in the area over the weekend. A trash container fire at the Lion’s Club baseball field caused $2000 in damages. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the State Fire Marshal at 301.766.3888. Investigators are also looking for the cause of a truck fire at Sheetz in Lavale on Saturday that caused over $100,000 in damages.
