On November 5, 2024, Officers of the Cumberland Police Department were on routine patrol when they observed a vehicle nearly strike another vehicle. The Officer then initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle in the area of East Industrial Boulevard. Contact was made with the driver, Jacqualine Clay, who was suspected to be operating under the influence of alcohol. After the investigation was completed, Clay was arrested for driving under the influence. She was issued citations and released pending her trial at the Allegany County District Court.
Arrest: Jacqualine Dawn Clay, age 40, Cumberland, Maryland.
