On November 5, 2024, Officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 700 Block of East First Street for the report of a fight in progress. Upon arrival, a female was located in the area advising three individuals had assaulted her. Officers located the three individuals nearby. Through the investigation, it was learned that Shellie Manning, Brian James, and Angel Page assaulted the victim several times, holding her down while doing so. The Allegany County District Court issued warrants for Manning, James, and Page. All three were arrested and taken before a District Court Commissioner. Manning was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without Bond. James was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without Bond. Page was taken to the Allegany County Detention Center where she awaits her initial appearance.
Arrest: Shellie Marie Manning, age 52, Cumberland, Maryland.
Charges: Assault 1st Degree, Assault 2nd Degree, Reckless Endangerment, False Imprisonment
Arrest: Brian Alan James, age 36, Cumberland, Maryland.
Charges: Assault 1st Degree, Assault 2nd Degree, Reckless Endangerment, False Imprisonment
Arrest: Angel Monique Page, age 37, Cumberland, Maryland.
Charges: Assault 1st Degree, Assault 2nd Degree, Reckless Endangerment, False Imprisonment
