The City of Cumberland has now closed the CSX underpass downtown.  The underpass, a means to get downtown when there are trains at the Baltimore Street crossing, has been a subject of debate and concern for years due its poor condition, filth, and perceived danger for pedestrians.  The city will determine its future in coming months.
