The Democratic National Committee is powering up states with an influx of cash. The DNC announced this week that they will be sending out one million dollars a month to state parties over the next four years in order to build membership and organizing efforts. Each state will receive $17,500 each month with GOP-controlled states receiving an additional $5,000. Party Chair Ken Martin said Democrats would witness a level of aggressive investment and organizing unlike anything done before.
