On Monday, February 10, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Macy Wilson.  The summons was issued in connection with a hit and run investigation from November 24, 2024.  On that date at approximately 2:56 PM, police responded to Boone Street for a hit and run that occurred the previous night.  The victims reported that their vehicles were struck by another vehicle.  A suspect was developed and identified as Macy Wilson. After further investigation, police filed for charges against Wilson at the District Court of Allegany County.  Wilson signed for his copy of the summons and was released pending trial.
