Visitors from far and wide will be coming to downtown Cumberland on May 3 to honor Roger Lantz, longtime owner of M&M Bake Shop.  Becky McClarran of the Downtown Cumberland Business Association told WCBC News that there would be baked goods, games, and a big card for everyone to sign for Lantz who retired and closed the bakery in March. M&M Bake Shop was in business for 59 years…

 

“We wanted to honor both Roger and M&M Bake Shop with a special day which is May 3, Saturday May 3 from 1 till 4.”

McClarran said honoring Roger makes perfect sense for everyone who knows him.

  

“We just wanted to have a special day to honor Roger. He’s been such a sweet person and a great person to work with.”
