On Saturday, April 26, 2025, Officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to a residence in the 600 Block of Columbia Street for the report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers learned that an assault had occurred during the disturbance. Contact was made with the victim, who did have an injury from an object being thrown at their back. Initially, the suspect was not located in the area however, Officers were able to locate her later that day. The suspect was identified as Kiera Camaraza. She was placed under arrest and taken before a District Court Commissioner. Camaraza was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond pending her trial. 

Arrest: Kiera Brianne Camaraza, Age 29, Cumberland, Maryland.

Charge: Assault Second Degree.
